Ms. Elyse Denorfia

Elyse has served as District Administrator since 2023 and has been on the District Adult Committee since 2022.

Prior to joining Kiwanis, Elyse was a member of Key Club at Southington High School. She then went to Westfield State College where she joined CKI and served as club president and District Governor (2008-2009).

Elyse joined Kiwanis after college and has been a member of several different Kiwanis Clubs in MA, CT, and NY. She is currently a member of the eKiwanis Club of New England and Bermuda and the Kiwanis Club of Weymouth, MA. In Kiwanis, Elyse has previously served as Lieutenant Governor, Builder's Club District Administrator, District Governor (2018-2019), a member of the New York CKI Adult Committee, and Leadership Development Coordinator. She has also served as Kiwanis Advisor to several Key Clubs.

Elyse's primary focuses as District Administrator are mentoring and training the District Board, developing a robust Adult Committee, and communicating with Key Club advisors.

Professionally, Elyse is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She works as a therapist and supervisor for a nationwide integrated mental health practice.

What is a District Administrator?

The District Administrator (DA) is a volunteer role appointed by the New England and Bermuda District of Kiwanis with approval from Kiwanis International. Each Key Club DA oversees Key Clubs within their Kiwanis District. DAs chair and appoint their Key Club District Adult Committee, mentor and supervise their Key Club District Board, oversee the operations of their Key Club District, and serve as a liaison with both their Kiwanis District Board and Kiwanis International.

Currently, Will Bradford and Elyse Denorfia both serve as District Administrators for New England. Will focuses on event planning, District operations, and expansion of Key Club into new high schools. Elyse focuses on mentoring and training the District Board, training and supporting Key Club advisors, and leading the District Adult Committee.
