
Contest Description
The Kiwanis Foundation of New England will be awarding scholarships at the Key Club District Educational Conference, Aptil 4-6, 2025 in Portland, ME. These scholarships shall be awarded to a senior Key Club member who shows outstanding service, leadership qualities, and achievements in Key Club. The scholarship committee will evaluate applications based on the candidate’s character and sincere dedication to Key Club and the ideals for which it stands.
The Timothy F. Daly Scholarship is awarded in memory of long-time District Financial Counselor Mr. Timothy Daly, who passed away in February 2025 at the age of 92. Mr. Daly served the New England District of Key Clubs for 34 years and simultaneously served as the District Administrator for Circle K (the college branch of the Kiwanis Family) for 25 years. Before retiring in 1997, Mr. Daly was a science teacher at Weymouth High School in Weymouth, MA, and served as faculty advisor to Key Club.
Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who are members in good standing of Key Club International.
